Back in November I got to be a part of coordinating Lavender Rights Project’s Artist Showcase. Lavender Rights Project provides legal advocacy and community education by and for the queer community. I was one of 7 chosen community curators for two events: an LGBTQ Artist Reception and an LGBTQ Art Auction. Both were amazing. I met so many talented queer artists. It was refreshing and life-giving to be a part of a project that was so community oriented. YAY! Here’s some photos of the art and event. I hope to do more work like this in the future!
